Kansas, I had a insulation contractor do the spray and attic. I did the all the draft sealing. Most of the drafts were from lack of maintenance and repairs. I did the (still am) doing the windows on the worse side of the house restoring them that helped a whole lot, more than the effort to do the jo...

My gas bill dropped over 60% after doing the same. Spray foam.rim joists and basement as well as crawl space. R50 blown into the attic. high efficiancy furnase combined with a lot of little draft sealing. Leaves more $ for more restoration and antiques.

Well here I am as well, the spam on the pre 1900 forum has not been a problem for me but dam, sorting through a hole page of spam on the general forum was a bit of a nuisance. I to will be visiting both sights.
