Rebuilt, stripped, reglazed windows. Painted in and out with oil paint Added cheap plastic V-weatherstripping, and rubber EPDM as needed, have existing triple-track storms and added wood venetian blinds and drapes. Surprisingly warm, and having operable windows is also great.

I remembered a hint: keep it dry; if stacked glass becomes infiltrated by water, it can suffer "glass rot" a kind of chemical etching caused by some bacterial action. I came across a huge stock of greenhouse glass that had been crated decades earlier and most all of it was ruined by glass ...

Hi, If it has a rabetted jamb, I would plane it (with a rabbet plane; worth owning) so the door closes evenly even with the warp; if the doorstop is applied molding, then remove it and re-apply allowing for the warpiness. Hi,
If it has a rabetted jamb, I would plane it (with a rabbet plane; worth owning) so the door closes evenly even with the warp; if the doorstop is applied molding, then remove it and re-apply allowing for the warpiness.
