My grandparents had an apartment in the Hotel Woodruff in Waterton, NY. All the doors in that hotel had operating transoms above the doors into the hallway. Wow; that's a delightful home which appears well loved. I lived in Rancho Cordova when assigned to Mather AFB in the 1980s. Maybe the three houses were built by the same person who build the row of painted ladies in San Francisco always shown on TV & the movies?!
