If I were in the same situation, I would definitely try to buy the house, if at all possible. Even if you sold it later, you could still make the necessary changes (to code, of course!) that would benefit Beebe before you sold it. I have not had experience with it, but I would think it would be at least as durable as porcelain, and definitely more so than ceramic. Do you plan to seal it? If so, that will probably be the only maintenance on it. I think it sounds lovely.

Ron, isn't that the way with windows, though? I always felt like I needed to have windows in every stage, just so I could have something ready to work on when I had to stop and wait for something to dry. These are gorgeous.
