Nh, nice to see your post. Just got to love that peachy pink 50’s colour scheme, the height of modernity :D. What are your plans, I see a new painted closet, looks great. Are you going for a modern interpretation of Victorian as far as the feel of the room, or going full blown 2024 bathroom?

I think the wider corner boards look great, these sort of things I see as classic craftsman style along with rafter tails and earthy colours Sure is better than pink😁. What’s next on the list?

James, there was once a porch on the front of the home but it had been removed, from conversations with the family of the second owners this would have been in the early nineteen hundreds. It was replaced with the cement one you see in previous posts. I never did find a picture of the home with the ...

Ok, a bit of a Waite but here is the porch so far. IMG_0072.jpeg I had a pro do the basic structure, I will be building most of the fancy stuff myself over time. Update on the back parlor project. It is finished for this year. The ceiling and moldings are in primer and ready for colour, but that’s next winters project. Finished the clean up today.

James, a lot of work goes into cleaning paint off brick, your efforts are paying off. The fireplace once again looks to be the center of attraction, as it should be. The ceiling fixture, did you do the restoration, it looks grand.
