wood
I meant to take a picture of this find before, but just got around to it yesterday. In the lower left cabinet, I found these four pieces.
Two are sections of a foam backed engineered hard wood floor. The one on the right is covered in food bits, like most of the shelving in the kitchen. We think they might have been samples of a possible floor cover before the PO's went with the fake wood vinyl planks instead.
The two longer pieces, which if you look closely to the ends, were cut to fit something, we have no idea what on earth they belonged to in the past. They are finished the same as all the other wood in the kitchen, but we can't for the life of us figure out where they "should" go, or did go in the past.
