Here is the rug I mentioned in all its glory.
Two of my three inherited Heywood-Wakefield pieces are stacked there.
The chair was a local find at my favorite 2nd hand shop. Although the fabric is in fairly good shape, I may recover it.
The husband was a freebie from the family we bought the stove and half hoosier from a town over.
The rocker foot stool was a "free-please-take-this-I-don't-want-to-take-it-home" at the end of the day find at a town wide yard sale south of here. Modern metal frame, but great shape. I haven't recovered it yet because we had no idea where we'd buy when we found it.
I'll talk about the bookcase in the next photo--not old.
We still have many books to unpack, and they do not all fit on the two shelves in this room.
Soon, the Wall 'O Comics will be along the left. We have two metal butcher block shelves, and the comics don't fit on them either.
The plan is to eventually make many built-in bookcases for this room (one of which will be the door for the secret passage.)
