downstairs full bath
We have no idea where the medicine cabinet got off to.
Since the upstairs 1/2 bath has a large vanity (for now), I may move the medicine cabinet from upstairs to here for now, and use part of one of the broken mirrors we have to build another for upstairs.
It really depends on if the one upstairs fits in the hole you see here over the sink.
We do not know if this tub used to be upstairs or not. It would fit. There is also a chance, however small, that this room may have at one time been a pantry or the kitchen itself. I had talked to a neighbor before, and the way she described the place, it sounded like the bath and current kitchen were a pantry and kitchen, but I may have misunderstood. It might have been that what is now the kitchen was the pantry, and what we think is the dining is actually a kitchen.
I hope to invite her over some day so she can tell me what she remembers from before. She told me that the lady who lived here (now passed a while ago) and she were friends and she had been in our home often. I have no reason to doubt her. She seemed knowledgeable about the home, and not in the "Nosey neighbor no one likes" way.
