Great Room looking from Kitchen into the addition put on in the 40's.
The arch is where the load bearing wall to the original house is. The additional space beyond was a bedroom added on over 80 years ago. The house flipper broke through the wall and although he didn't do the load bearing header correctly (I had a contractor fix it and more) overall it was the best thing he did, as I am not really for open space concepts, but this room really works the size it is. The 2000 inch TV sits on top of another buffet which with space constraints was the best I could manage.
