The Great Room (large, not all that spectacular)
Christmas 2021 Finally some better furnishings that fit the humble cottage better than the beat up collection of stuff rescued from the trash.
The Buffet du Corp has no maker's marks but appears to be in the style of Horner. It is in great shape for its age. The small desk is from Paynes Furniture of Boston. The tag on the back matches its location during the 1880's. I did find a very close example of this piece in their 1880's catalog. Cost something around $20 brand new at the time.
