Similar to the last image, just a step over. Not sure why they posted both to be honest.
The front walk needs work as well. Spouse wants to do some sort of retaining wall instead of the slope, I'm not sure how that will end up after longer discussion down the line. I do like the look of such, especially if I can incorporate a nice bench for pedestrians to rest on since I'm a fellow local walker, and we need more rest spots, darn it.
The town has gradually been putting down at least asphalt on both sides of all streets as a walkway. The closer you get to downtown, the more likely there is sidewalk. Across the street, there is sidewalk, but there isn't even asphalt on our side, so I'm not sure what the town will do in such a case.
