Subway tile effect in plaster. Poor finish in a past repair job. Filled soap holder
Under what appears to be a very old medicine cabinet (if not the original) is some sad repair work. Built-in soap holder at bottom filled. One of possibly two ceramic / porcelain "towel holders / hooks" (?) remain at left. Above and right: plaster juts out covering or repairing what is unknown. This is situated below the repair for possible damaged built-in feature.
