eastern black swallowtail in our parsley
I noticed this in our kitchen garden a few days ago, it's still growing and I'm amazed nothing has snatched it away for a meal yet! This show was taken yesterday. A picture I took the first day I saw it you can see on my garden site.
An internet friend in the west has swallowtails too, and he saw two cats, and then watched a skunk eat them. We have skunks around here which is why I'm amazed it's still not vanished.
