Re: How would you describe this roof?

Thanks Ron.

This house seems to be a 1930s mishmash of styles and some odd updates. There are some Tudor Revival touches, like the front door, interior doors and slate roof.

How would you describe this roof?

Would this be considered a cat slide roof? Any guess at what type of slate might be on this roof? I appreciate any and all info! Thanks!

1925 Wall Heater?

Hello,

I was looking at a real estate this weekend - a 1925 bungalow - and saw this heater (?) on the wall in the upstairs bathroom and the bedroom next to the bathroom. The other two bedrooms did not have one. Does anyone know what this is and how it worked?

Thanks :)

1900 Pennsylvania Farmhouse

Hello Everyone (and especially BungalowMo ) Would this plain farmhouse be considered a Colonial Revival, or a vernacular farmhouse? Try to ignore the ugly purple paint !!!! It has two rooms downstairs (living room 15 x 14 and kitchen 15 x 14) and two bedrooms (both 12 x 15). The chimney seems to be ...
